This Privacy Policy explains how GradingMaster (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you purchase, activate, or use GradingMaster (“Software”) and our related website and services. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have questions, contact us at support@gradingmaster.com.
Purchase data. When you buy a license, our payment provider Gumroad collects your name, email address, country, and payment details. We receive your name, email, and order information, but not your full payment card details.
License and activation data. To issue and validate licenses, we and our licensing provider LicenseSeat process:
Support data. If you contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
We do not collect the contents of your drawings or design files. The Software processes your drawings locally within AutoCAD and does not transmit your project files to us.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (to provide and validate your license), legitimate interests (to secure the Software, prevent abuse, and run our business), consent where required (for example optional marketing, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation.
We share personal data only as needed with providers who help us operate: Gumroad for payment processing and order management, and LicenseSeat for license issuance, activation, validation, and license emails. These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data. We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
We and our providers may process your data in countries other than your own, including the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Software and licenses, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. License and activation records are typically kept for the life of your license plus a reasonable period, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@gradingmaster.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Software is intended for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
