This Privacy Policy explains how GradingMaster collects, uses, and protects personal data when you purchase, activate, or use GradingMaster ("Software") and our related website and services. The data controller is GRADINGMASTER LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17438283), registered office 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us"). Purchase data. When you subscribe, our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Paddle, collects your name, email address, country, and payment details. We receive your name, email, and order information, but not your full payment card details.
Licence and activation data. To issue and validate licences, we and our licensing provider Keygen (keygen.sh) process:
Support data. If you contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message.
We do not collect the contents of your drawings or design files. The Software processes your drawings locally within AutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp and does not transmit your project files to us.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (to provide and validate your licence), legitimate interests (to secure the Software, prevent abuse, and run our business), consent where required (for example optional marketing, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation.
We share personal data only as needed with providers who help us operate: Paddle for payment processing, tax handling and order management, and Keygen for licence issuance, activation, and validation. We use a transactional email provider to send your licence key and service emails. These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data. We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
We and our providers may process your data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Software and licences, to meet legal and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Licence and activation records are typically kept for the life of your licence plus a reasonable period, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@gradingmaster.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Software is intended for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
